Summer fun
So much has been going on at Spectrum during August and September, from visiting tortoises, maths groups, days at the cricket to our CEO networking at a local exhibition. See our photo's for more.
Maths at the Doddridge Centre
A group from our William Street Centre have attended the Multiply - Maths for the Terrified course this morning at the
Doddridge Centre. Thank you to Northamptonshire Adult Learning Service for arranging the course.
We had really good feedback from those who attended this morning and they are looking forward to the second of the two sessions next Wednesday.
Northamptonshire Cricket
Sometimes it's best to let others do the exercise in the hot weather...
Today we had a really nice day out watching
Northamptonshire County Cricket Club take on Lancashire from the shade of the Cinch stand. We bought ourselves a squash or J20 or two from the lovely restaurant there and were really nicely welcomed by all the staff we encountered. Thanks to all at The County Ground, we're looking forward to coming back again soon.
Pebbles visits Spectrum
Our new staff member Steph brought in Pebbles, her tortoise, yesterday to Berrywood Road Centre and our service users really enjoyed the experience.
Networking at the Chamber of Commerce
We enjoyed the opportunity to attend and network at the Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce Northamptonshire Business Exhibition. We made some really good contacts and were able to share the valuable work we do at Spectrum Northants.
