William Street "out and about" recently
We had a lovely time recently visiting Coventry as part of our travel training.
.
The service users planned where they wanted to go and all said they really enjoyed the experience, with favourite bits of the trip ranging from seeing Dippy - on loan from the Natural History Museum, learning about the Blitz, the train journey itself to their trip to KFC.
.
Well done to the service users who were a joy to spend the day with. Hope the legs weren't too sore from all that walking!

We also had a great time visiting
The Chester House Estate for one of their fantastic education sessions learning about the Roman settlement and artifacts discovered there.
.
Our service users had a really good day of learning and crafting. We were given a guided tour of the museum and had a go at pottery Roman style, as well as documenting archeological findings and making some mightily impressive Roman soldier figurines, topped off with a look around the site and a visit to the café. We had an awesome time and can't wait to come back.
